taillights
You're a retard, Josh. The tail lights are actually red plastic...not clear with red inserts. Don't do it man. You'll regret it...really...
Why not just buy some of those super-cool altezza tail lights that everyone likes? I mean, yeah, they are hard to find...but they're so cool...I swear....

it actually is possible to have cleared STOCK/OEM taillights...
heres how. get a set of OEM taillights... get a set of some cheap @ss clear altezza style taillights... take the outer shell of both off and just reverse them. then just seal them well and now you got a set of clear OEM taillights and a set of red, prolly messed up lookin altezzas. by putting the clear altezze lense on the oem taillight unit, you now have a cleared taillight. it might not be cost effective since you'll prolly have to buy the set of altezzas, and still, im not sure how good your CLEARED OEM taillight is gonna look...?

Yup it is very possible, simply take a set of stock tails and APC tails (or any altezza), swap the covers, and your done.
No one has realized that yet?
lol
I have seen a Inca Pearl 7th gen coupe with it done and it looks pretty clean.

Or how about jusy buying the Altezzas...? I think they look just fine, depending on the color of your ride though. the time you'll spend trying you'd be better off changing your oil/filter, rotating your tires, swapping out your spark plugs and then some.

you can not take apart a stock taillight. they are not sealed with silicone, they are welded with plastic. trust me, it is impossible. Just buy altezzas and remove the red inserts. you could even use glass stain and create your own design.
OMG, not impossible, just not a good idea. i never said it would look good either. but it is possible....
I dont recommend you find out the hard way either, but goodluck if you're gonna be stubborn!

Seriously, the plastic is red. There is nothing you can do... well other than remove the lens covers.
