Has anyone heard of a IC chip???
Today i waz at honda becuase my friend wanted to buy a car...Well when i got there some of the honda salesmen saw my car and starting telling my nice car and stuff
.anywayz i waz talking to one of the salesmen while my frined waz looking at cars for her..and the salesmen told me that there is a IC chip that i can buy and it should give me 20 more hp cuz it changes the air fuel ratio..has anyone heard of this before??? or waz the salesmen didnt know what he waz talking about??

salesmen usually don't know what they're talkin about, they're just tryin to sell their crap. i've never heard of it. do some research and get back on that. it sounds like it could be true. i'm sure someone one heres knows about this.
My friend bought one for their Volkswagon. Basically you change the engine management chip which adjusts the air to fuel ratio. My mates Golf was originally a 110BHP TDI and after he chipped it he got it rated at 128BHP. I will try to get a website that sells them.

IC stands for Integrated Circuit, which, technically, would be an apt description of an EPROM chip. This is the swappable chip inside the ECM (Engine control Module), which contains all the fuel and ignition maps for your car.
