Shaved molding

how do i take off the side molding on my 2002 civic lx sedan? i've seen it done, but don't know how to do it. if you can help i would appricate it.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

TRY USING THE SAME TECHNIC AS THE SHAVEING EMBLEMS DIY....SHOULD WORK...POST BEFOR AND AFTER PIX TOO

OR TAKE A FISHING LINE...WRAP IT AROUND YER FINGERS AN MOVE IT BACK AND FORTHDOWN THE SIDE OF YOUR CAR....IT WORKS BETTER WONT DENT YER CAR. ALSO GET YERSELF AFTA B/C YOU WILL LEAVE THE RESIDUE BEHIND

i think they just pull off like the emblems. just use some goo off to get the gunk off and wax it after because to goo off will strip the wax.

no, theres holes behind those strips, you'll have to get them bondoed and painted. mine came off this summer in an accident. there's clips that go into the holes on the door, thats what holds them on.

Wha??? I just let my car sit in the sun for a few hours and they peeled right off, there were no holes behind it. BTW I'm from Worcester!!

coupes with side moldings DO NOT have holes behind them.they are just sticked on.however sedan have holes.coupes do not come with side moldings but can be put on as an option.
