Help with Eaglite HID Conversion kit installation

I have it installed and wired just like the diagram, but I can't get the ballasts to ignite. In the instructions, it mentions something about a relay kit, but my kit didn't come with one and everything is included, nothing is missing. If anyone has any experience with this kit, please shed some light on my problem.

Update:

Thanks for the replies, I was able to wire it up with out any problems, no relay kit either. Took me about 2 hours due to removal of bumper, but I mounted the ballasts in a secure place. I just switched my wires, I had negative going to positive and vice versa, now it works and it's bright as F_ck!!!!!!!!

You must have a relay so you can provide your ballasts the full 12 volts from your battery. The low beam wire and ground is wired to the relay which acts like a switch to supply the full 12 volts directly from the battery. There should be wires directly from the battery wired to the relay with an inline fuse. Your kit should have this harness (relay kit)

i had the same problem with my old hid kit that uses a separate ballast and ignitor. you need a relay kit. i had to buy a wire harness relay that connects to the car battery. you would then plug the ballast to this harness to power it. there are a few wire harness relay for the h4 application on ebay, suvlights.com or autodynamic.com. good luck.

Hey I came across a new problem, I have everybody high beaming me and the hid lights are installed correctly. I read the manual but it says that a certified honda tech or qualified mechanic should do this, any suggestions? I don't want to be sweated by the police.

do your h4 hid bulbs come with a built-in glare shield on the bottom, which prevents the lights from bouncing off the bottom? if so, then you're ok. you just might have to re-aim your headlights down by turning a screw behind the headlight housing.

Yea, I fixed it, my friend told me on his ex-girlfriends civic that there should be a screw to adjust the height of the beam. I did that and I have no problems now. Is there a screw to fix the horizontal positioning of the lights as well?
