DIY: tricked out trunk...

i've read your posts and forums...
but to those who have done this...

does it give you any kinds of problems?

*water leak through?
*trunk rattle?
*difficulty closing?

can you post pics of the attachment from the bracket to the hood trunk?

Hey...

I did this DIY and coated each hole with primer then paint!!! After that I bolted everything in using silcone sealant around the holes and nuts!!!! Then I rubberized the underside of the car for undercoating and help seal it!!! The only problem I had was that our trunk is only about 6" deep (if i remember correctly) Well with a JL 12" i had to make it 7" deep for sound quality and air flow so there goes an Inch off my floor.... Not much and Not much I could do about it but things worked out and it sounds good!!!

I need to find a cover for our DONUTS hehe... maybe an RV TIRE COVER since thats all I can find that makes things this small....

p.s. I had to tighten my trunk lid.... U just add about two or three threads on the rubber stoppers by twisting them out......This seemed to clear up the minor trunk noise i was getting!!!

He's prorbably talking about his subwoofers on the floor effect. Tricked out trunk meaning flip-flop foo. lol, I did both and the flip-flop only made it a little harder to close but not much, it looks good though.
