Gauge Pods?? Gauges?

Does anyone know where I can get some gauge pods to mount of the left pillar of our car that will fit? Also, if we cannot get the pods, where would be a good place to mount the gauges?? Any good suggestions?? I am planning on mounting an oil pressure gauge, along with some others. I already searched and found how to install an oil pressure gauge, but I didn't quite understand what they needed to install the gauge...any suggestions as to where I can get the hardware to install the gauge???

If you go to Autometer they have everything you need...Gauges, hardware, senders, and everything else. Oh by the way, the OBX pod does not fit our car. The one by autometer for the 97 prelude fits pretty well though. They have one for our car coming out in a month or so.

i used the autometer gauge cup for my A/F ratio gauge - it's still a pretty clean mount, although not nearly as clean as the pods.

I have a custom gauge pod with EGT, A/F Ratio, and Fuel Pressure gauges, hooked up and working. Also have a boost gauge hooked up, as the turbo is going in within a month. If you have any questions, PM or email me, and if you want to see the pod, it's on my members ride page. My Member's Ride Page

Motegi, u sure about that? Autometer told me, and a few other ppl when we emailed that they WERE NOT GOING TO MAKE pods for 01+ Civics. Im not calling you a liar but hopefully they cahnged their ways. How did you contact them?

My friend with a 91 Prelude (not a very popular car) is in www.HondaPrelude.com and they found 75 people from the 3rd generation preludes to make a Autometer work on guage pods. It worked, and Autometer agreed due to the many replies, Jus a thought

I really like the Blitz DC Series guages. They come with these little stands that look very good. All you do is attach the stand to the A-Piller and swivel the guage around to point at you. Or you could do this...

^ This is a concept at some show. Maybe they'll make these soon?

Found a creative idea for mounting the gauges...called my local Tweeter stereo installation place...they have a 12x12 sheet of plastic that they use when installing head units (used to fill the void around the aftermarket h/u). They say its $15, can be heated to mold...I am planning on taking out the lil pocket under the radio & making a custom gauge pod to fit in there...easy and clean!

gauge pods

Are we talking about cluster pods or pillar pods? I know I got one cluster pod from Ractive for mine. Looks nice. BUT-- I am having problems putting in my air/fuel ratio gauge in. I used taps and all checked that it was going to red/black wire and had a good ground-nothing. Checked the gauge alone and it was good. Even did the assembly like the DIY here, WTF?
