Switch board idea on center dash

For those that need switches for whatever reason in ur ride I got an idea but I need a few questions answered. I took the compartment bin outa the center dash under my CD player and I wanna replace it. Is there a kit out there I can replace it with? I need a black flat surface panel that can jus sit there. Im gonna line up a few switches on it and go from wiring it behind the center dash so switches will look clean. Also will this kit hold my stock CD player too or only the bottom compartment? Anyone kno where I can find one?
Thanks-
Lou

Start with some cardboard and get the size down, then get some plastic, dosen't matter what from, those empty hole covers from cd drives on your computer should be about right, and cut it to size, then paint it black and set it up, and if that fits there, I haven't checked......Linky linky

only problem is button pushers in the passenger seat.

i always install my switches out of reach by everyone exept me. that way ppl arent popping my doors open on teh highway or honkingmy horns, etc.

can you imagine if you have one of those bastiges hit your nitrous button when your just on city streets? man id be pissed......

edit: just clicked the link, if you want a great source for DIY computer case modding, id suggest www.virtualhideout.net, or similar ot that. best casemod site tho a bit crowded now.

i really like that switch setup , if the lights work to tell ya when what is on would come in handy for neons and stuff of that sort

They also sell **** switches to dim lights if you set it up to neon's. I used to be big into modding my computer, basically to tide me over until I got a car, haven't spent a dime on my computer since I got the car.
