i know there serveral people on this site who have put sidemarkers on, so i need some input. now i've read the DIY page for it and i understand everything, but my question is... will i ever have any problem of anything rusting? do i have to put some kind of silicon or sealer on to keep if from rusting? i'm just worried i'll have rust streaks on the side of my car in a couple of months if i do it myself.

what I'm gonna do is use touch-up paint from the dealer to go around the hole I cut. that will not only help prevent rust, but it will help the sidemarker stick to the side of the car

I would like to install sidemarkers...its just everytime I think about cutting through the fenders...Can't bring myself to do it

nope.. you got that black cover going around the fenderwell. when you install the sidemarker you peel that back to reach the other side of the fender.

hey mex, when are you going to do yours? i'm supposed to get my sidemarkers this week sometime, but i don't know when i'll have time to do it. let me know how it goes.
