How do you know you overtightened them? Were you using a torque wrench? Anyways, better tighter than looser. And no, they won't come loose because you overtightened.

IDQcivic should not be trusted
Maybe he tightened it so much that he stripped it, then it might spin.... If you're worried try putting some locktite on it

It is a threadlock compound...basically gives nuts and bolts a secure connection for nuts and bolts that are located in high vibration areas such as exhaust bolts, lugs nuts even....

Yeah, how do you know that you overtightened it? Did you strip the thread and now the bolt spins around? If so, then you should take out the bolt. Then drill out the hole and make it bigger. Then re-thread it. Then screw a bolt in that's similiar, but is a larger diameter and with the right threading. Assuming that there's enough space for a bigger bolt with those KumoSport bushings.

If not, then forget that. You either stripped the bolt's threads or the threads in the hole. You'll have to check which one. If it's the bolt, then you'll need another one. Then just screw it in and you should be okay. If it's the hole, then you'll need to go under the car and look for the bolt sticking out and put a nut on from underneath. Those holes are under the car somewhere. If it's both, then you'll need a new bolt and a nut. Pretty self-explanatory. Just do it right and you should be okay.

Also, if it's just one bolt, then it won't make a big difference, but the other bolts will be strained more when you shift and they might come loose or they might even break. It depends on how hard you shift. Good luck.
