Hey clear tail lamp!

I've unseal my APC ( sCrAP ) this afternoon.....No need to do a DIY for this....
Just put the hole piece on very hot ( not too hot ) water for about 10 min...or less....and just unseal it with something like a screw driver........mine were APC who leaks....I bought them for almost nothing...they were old...and I took me ...around 10 min to unseal each tail lamp.....hey have a look at the picture...!!!

I'M planing not to put the glass back on the tail lamp....to have a 3D effect.....any problem with this? Any advice that can stop me to do this? Will I have some problem doing this? I'm thinking that the only problem that I can have is that the paint won't stick too much the chrome.....but If it is paint carefully I'm thingink that I won't have problem....i'll put some glue around the red round to be sure that it won't leak....cause when I've put some water in it...the were leaking......! ! APC = sCrAP for ever

Eric

Thanks for all the comments....but when I have something in mind.....I just wanted to have some advices....I know that this cover have been made to help protect those lights....but there is no cover on the fender or on the doors and the paint stay on correctly so I can assume that the paint will stay on my tail light too....I'll try it...Like it or not and I'll show you the result in a couple days....! ! ! I think that when you drive a honda and moooooooore when you drive a civic you have to be innovative to have something different....that's my opinion!!!!

Thanks!
Eric

Rider, your car is awesome. How big of a drop do you have and, just wondering, what color was your car originally?

Well I'll be . . . that actually looks pretty doggone tight, in my opinion. I considered that for my sedan TYC's, but decided against it. Good to see someone with the ***** to do it.

My car was silver metallic!!!!! The engine bay is not like the car original color.....the car was silver metallic...and the engine bay is like primer.....a dealer at honda told me that Honda made a lot of car this way....the engine bay on the primer...and the car another color....I saw a red 2002 civic ex on the showroom with the engine bay on the primer......kind weird uh? =)

My custom paint is called Prismatic green ! Look a seven up bottel ( the 2L one.. )and this is the color when my car is the dark.....or when there is some cloud....and SHAKE THE BOTTLE....and you'll see what my car look like in the sun =)

Thanks for the advice....I'll show some pics soon!!!

Hey yeah!!! I am actually trying to find out a way to clear my OEM tail lights. I want to clear my signal lights to make em clear rather than red so i can put hyper white signals. I am not a big fan of APC or Altezza's but I would like the custom look on my lights that not everyone can buy. Someone please help me out. Also, on stock 2001 Civic 4dr Tail lights, the reverse lens is pink.......how can i change this fruity lens color to white as well? someone please help me out!!!!!!!

mmmmmmm I've tried and hopefully succeed to take off the bigger red lens but I don'T recommend to try to put them off...cause if you brake just ONE.....you have to buy a new set of tail lamp...I dont' think that we can buy this kind of lens.....hey......maybe we can...I check this out But I take ONE off....and those are stick in place with glue like crazy glue or something like this....and they are not sealed....mind will be sealed cause I want it to be this way ( those who have read the above posts will understand ) !! ! ! !! !

Cya!
