have you hit anything with your front tires? curb? animals? people? (jk) you might've blown a suspension bushing...and the metal suspension peices are knocking together?

to be more specific, its a bunch of knocking noises and when raising or lowering using floor jack. sometimes a slam hard enough to make the dirt caked to the undercarrage fly off.

small knocking noises is normal, a big slam, making dust fly isnt... how exactly are you taking it off the jack stands? i never used jack stands so i dont know the proper way to use them but even then i'm sure it wouldnt slam cause the springs/shocks bounce. well maybe its blown shocks and what your hearing is the shocks bottoming out on the bumpstops. is your car lowered? try jacking up each corner one by one and see if it makes that noise on all 4s

cool, just jack up the car and place a jackstand next to the point where the jackin point contact the frame/chasis then releas the jack slowly and the car will be very safe (on a level ground of course),as to the question from Likeweee... we can stop the guessin game on the slammin noice and let a good alignment shop check the componets out.good luck
