Got my aftermarket shift knob...how do I install? It has wires for indiglo light!

Got my aftermarket shift ****...how do I install? It has wires for indiglo light!

[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]I got my shift **** type R indiglo blue titanium..it is cool, but It has wires to wire to the parking lights?? Do I need to waste more money and get someone to do it? Can I do it?? I am mad that it just doesn't screw on but has wires........please help out vic bros.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]

theres wires running through the center console that you have to tap into. i think you can just run the wire under the shift boot.
as far as which wire to tap, i dont know that. but there was a post made in the past few days (possibly even today) that descrives briefly which wire is the one for the parking lights.

Yeah...tap into the red/orange (yellow?) wire under the center console...this is hot whenever your parking lights are on. Just be careful to wrab the wires with some plastic shrink wrap or electrical tape and route them away from the shifter linkage to avoid chafing them. Just did this on a friend's car...looks sweet! I might even do it myself...except I love my RSX ****.

You can run it to any fuse and when whatever you turn on (lights) then it will turn on too. Just wrap the exposed wire around 1/2 of any fuse under your dash and plug the fuse back in.
