our civics are 4 door isolated???

i was wondering why my alarm doesn't warn me that my doors are open when i arm it the installers are telling me that the 2 and 4 door civics are diodes isolated which mean each door has it's own pin or something and the alarms only have 1 insert so how am i gonna get this alarm to give me warning when one of my doors are open.....it gives warning when a door is opened with the alarm activates but it's supposed to give me another warning when one of the zones are faulty( doors) .....any body know how to get around this ?????????

No,the installer got the wrong wire for the doors, you need diode isolation only to make you alarm arm automatic or by itself thats what they call passive arming.
so tell him that alarm is not working right.because if he got the right wire you alarm gonna let you know if any door still open after you armed like another beep or hork thats mean a zone is not protect it by your alarm.

Depending on what alarm you have it may have a progressive door trigger option.

i dont have a factory alarm on my ride that plug should be there tho still for the addon right???

i wonder what wire these guys hooked the wire up to then to make it not notice the door open??? is there other wires that will detect a door open when it's armed and set the alarm off but wont give a signal to tell the alarm that zone is defective when it's activated?

look man I gonna tell you what you need, this is what you have to do to make work, check the plug for the courtesy light is a small gray plug with white/blue on one side and green/black to the other (this plug is near from the green plug of the factory alarm) so just take the wire from you alarm that it said Door trigger(-)and wire to the green/black wire and thats it,and then test the alarm, try to leave a door open and you gonna hear an extra beep or hork whe you arm you alarm so let me know what happen after tried this.
