scratches

it it possible to paint over the scratches in the front and rear bumper of my car
i know they are like plastic

you can hardly see them
but they upset me cause i know they are there

yes just resand and primer paint and clear coat all that good stuff or take it to a local shop. mine is in the shop now for it gettin rearended a few months ago should be out thursday!!!

I think he's looking for something more practical to cover up the scratches. Maybe touch up paint from honda? (they sell the actual colors our cars are painted in). If I were you I would never use touch up paint. Just deal with the scratches or get the whole piece repainted. Scratches add that custom race look anyway. actually the touch up paint works pretty well, my brother has a 2000 civic ex and a branch fell on his trunk and scratched it up pretty bad. we went to honda and bought some touch up paint, poured it onto a clean cloth and rubbed it evenly onto the surface where the scratches were. then, this is going to sound weird but it works, we took some tar and bug remover and rubbed all around the applied areas, perfect blending, you could never even tell there were scratches. so i would say give it a shot, just dont apply too much paint to the cloth/rag.
