problem......car hesitates

ok, here is my problem..

when first starting off, in first gear, i usually shift around 2500rpm, recently when i do so, the car seems to hesitate, it burbles as teh rpms rise for a few hundred rpms, and then full power comes right back all of a suden, this also happens in 2nd gear (as i shift into 2nd from first) and the same with 3rd......it is NOT a continuall problem, only sometimes and when it wants to...

i am thinking that maybe the plugs could be fouled....but anyone have any other suggestions?

<3000rpm=no power in our cars. just shift a little higher, say around 3-3.5k rpm.

Is your A/C on? I've noticed that recently too. I think the A/C just soaks up any power that we might have. I was also thinking about changing my plugs. Plugs is what I would do, especially if you still have the stock ones.

Could be clogged fuel injectors too - is a stumble or miss of the engine? ... but it does sound like you may be bogging the engine some... shift a bit higher in the revs so the next gear isn't starting too low in the revs to make any power.

If your car hesitates, I'll tell you what it needs.

It needs some good ol'-fashioned COURAGE, BOY!!! That'll help it get up and go!!!

Sorry, I need more sleep

2500 rpms in first? wow...I don't think I ever do that unless i'm in a residential or something. I drive hard 80% of the time i'm in my car so yeah...you might just be bogging down the car with low rpm. How many miles is on it? Fuel injectors like the previous guy said could be it too. Had a tune up lately? I always keep Bosch Platinum in there.

The stock plugs are mighty good...no need to change them...remove them..see if they're plugged or fouled first... The a/c does soak up alot of juice too.

also..this happens from first-second.. or enganging first gear?..
