Throttle Body Question
I know gude sells a bigger throttle body but are any other throttle bodies interchangable like from another rsx, civic si. Just asking cause I know anything for a mustang can basically just get droped in a focus.
I'm not sure, but I do know this. The new civics have a completely different intake design due to the D17, the civic si and the rsx have the k20. I new civics are a ULEV, so I'm sure the design might be all together different. Would be interesting to find out.
"anything from a mustang..."
okay, so... where's the 5.0L focus zx3?!
what exactly are you talking about when you say "just dropped in"? the mustang's V8 and the focus' zetec are completely different.

actually they do have a small block drop in for the focus now saw a company at hot import nights selling them and with the focus the fuel injectors and throttle bodies from ford racing style cars are interchangable but I was more looking at the fuel issue with the fords.

he means a lot of the 5.0 parts fit the focus....like i had a 4.3l vortec v6 in my sonoma and all the parts from a chevy 350 v8 fit my engine...except for the intake and heads....everything else was excatly the same.
i dunno about throttle bodies themselves, but i do know that they make throttle body spacers to fit our stock throttle bodies. i think its called helix.
throttle body spacer
there it is.
throttle body spacer
there it is.
First of all, the Mustang hasent made a 5.0 liter in like 6 years theyahave been 4.6 liter for some time!!! I think wat he is talking about is the new SVT Ford Focus. It has some of the same parts as the Mustang like maybe the throttle body.
Check out the Ford SVT.

Yeah throttle body spacers just interfer with the fitment of your air intake. I just want to find out if we have a cheaper way of upgrading our throttle body from any of you people out there that have messed around with honda cars.
