Amsoil 5W20...........
Last thing I need to clear up before I start changing my oil. I have an EX, so how many qts of synthetic do I need. I think it is like 3.2 for an ex, but I am not sure. If that is the case then I will have to buy the 12 quart bottle for like $60 from the amsoil web site. Also, I am going to go ahead and buy the honda filter and washer. Do I have to buy the wrench to put the honda filter on and take it off? Thanks for all your help everyone!

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, that's about what you need, I usually just buy the 4L quarts, Honda OEM filter (crush washer comes with it), and the filter wrench. I got one at a local auto store for a few bucks. Some claim that you can get it off by hand, but for only a few bucks I just decided to buy one in case.

check the manual.... it states how many qts the EX needs. i heard the first time it might be hard to take out the filter by hand, but after that it should be easy.
