Zex kit on 7th gen

does anybody have any info on installing a Zex kit for a 7th gen? Ive been doing research and I have found very lil., saying its not possible , BUT i have seen it with my own eyes someone using a 75 shot on a 7th gen coupe. And I never got the chance to ask the guy what he did to install it Cause I thought it was easy to do. If anybody has any info LMK, thanks!!!!!!!

well.....I didnt know that the 2k1s didnt have a returnless line. Now I know thank you, I just have to find the guy that I saw at the track that had it. I know that the 2k1s are slow, thats why I just wanted to see what it was like to squeeze on wifeys car since I already have an allmotor EG. I ve seen it done, but dont know how it was done, gotta ask him tomorrow at the track.

Zex kit DOES TOO WORK on our cars.

Just make sure to install a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator.

Find the instuctions directly off zex.com.

PM me if anything.

Theres nothing wrong with a Zex kit. WTF are you talking about. As long as it has some kind of safety feature where it cuts off the nitrous supply if you start to run to rich or lean, your fine.

im not sure where all this info is coming from, especially someone with CELICA in their handle name? anyways, i talked to ZEX and they said... "NO, the ZEX n2o kit will NOT work on the 01-02 civics, because of the returnless fuel system." they said they are workin on a kit that will work for our cars, but its not a big priority for them. well, thats wut i have to say about this dumb thread...

isn't the RSX a returnless too? just wait till zex comes out with stuff for that one and use those parts...since the RSX seems slightly more popular than the civic in terms of aftermarket stuff.

Yea I think it does too. I called the dealer today and I found out where the FPR is located, they just dont know if its vaccumed or elecelectronic. Im thinking its electronic from what the parts guy described, guess thats where the aftermarket one comes in. Hay Speedricer do you have any info on the aftermarket one?can you give me some info on how you did it?thanks!

ZEX WILL NOT WORK! the fpr is in the gas tank. for it to work, there would have to be a vacuum hose running from it, to the intake manifold. there is no such line.

hey, if you guys are interested in squeezing, NX has a site which shows a step by step installation on a 2001 civic. as a matter of fact i chatted with a guy at a local honda parts department and he has a 75 shot in his 2001 lx coupe. he claimed to have taken SIs and 14-15 sec cars. (CLAIM) i havent seen it myself, but he is a good friend of a tech buddy i know that also works there. so go check out the site nitrousexpress.com hope this information helps laters and keep the love in this site.

To answer ur question instead of slaming you, It can be hooked up the same way as u would on any other car. Run the regulator barb with a hose to ur fuel pressure regulator vaccum hose and tie it off. Then run the intake barb hose to an unused vaccum fitting close to the bottom of the intake manifold there is a gray plug over it, Take that off and hook up that hose to it.

Thank you PseudoChrist. I find it pointless to argue with those that are too ignorant to OPEN THEIR mind to realize ONE can alter certain things anyways if necessary, but in this case, altering is not even the term.

And they thought the world was flat too!
