Couple things you got to know. Your cams help time the rngine this keeps the intake and exhaust values opening at the right time according to the crank location. If you hook it up untimed you can do serious damage or your car will run like crap and after awhile you will do serious damage. Now the other thing tech is a technology that runs to types of lobes on a cam so your intake will stay open longer and let more air in when you need it like in your upper rpm range this is all computer controled so they only way to screw it up is to modify it with a computer. And pulleys just make sure your belts are properly adjusted and the bolts are torqued down. Cause pulleys just run accesories like alternator, ac and fans

Yeah, pullies are no problem. Just plug and play. Well, not a problem in regards to valve timing. The cam gear is what you need to install properly. Just install it in the same position as the stock one was in and you should be all set. You could try advancing the timing one or two degrees. That should work out for you 100%. If you want to further advance the timging then I reccomend upgrading to higher octane gasoline. The more you advance the timing the higher the chance of detonation occuring is.
