you need to make sure that the sensor is connected properly and fully inserted, also reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 10 mins and then hook the battery up and turn it on again, dont hit the gas or anything for like 10 mins and then you should be fine, the engine needs to get used to the extra air comming in..

Reset the ecu
Take the intake back off and make sure nothing is in it.
Make sure nothing (i.e. the rubber boot) is bloking the throttle.
Verify that all vaccume hoses are tight and secure <---- this is my bet
Verify that the termocouple sensor is hooked up (and working) <---- this is my bet too.
if this doesn't work, put the old intake back on and see if there is still a problem.

come on..
every body tells me the same stuff " you need to reset your ecu"
I DID RESET MY ECU...and not just one time, but couple of times.
but it still the same problem..
I did everything like it says in the instraction...
the pipe and filter does not tuching anything..
but still, something wrong...maybe something wrong with my car, but with the stock intake its working good...

disconect the battery to let the computer reset. leave it off for about thirty minutes then hook it back up crank the car, but do not rev it. let it idle for about a minute then turn the car off. then crank it back up and you are ready. hope this helps
I hardly see a problem with this.....whoop de doo it just 200 rpms....it doesn't affect anything...unless your nit picky type of person who can hear a slight exhuast tone..... yo can't even hear if the damn car is on half the time....with with it and enjoy the extra ponies it provides
this is not associated with your problem BUT
MAKE SURE MAKE SURE MAKE SURE you bolt the clutch slave back on tight!!
my car is in the shop right now because the bolts got loose, and it is not looking good.
