Has anyone installed these on there 02 civic ex yet. I can barely fit my arms in the space next to the pulleys. does the motor have to be pulled or something, or is there a trick i don't know about.
thanks for any help possible.

I have the AEM pullies and haven't had any problems with them. I left the install up to someone else, but they said that they went on perfectly. Sorry I can't help on the installation, but I would recommend getting them. However, if you want to spend a little more money, go with the Unorthodox Racing pulley set. It comes with three pullies instead of two, the third one replaces the crank pulley I believe.

you know replacing the pulleys should be done in conjuction with replacing the belt. You wanna know why the AEM pulley slipped? You most likely forgot to replace the belt too.

well, as far as the AEM PULLEYS go, i heard they are a pretty easy bolt on. not too strenuous. as for the Unorthodox Racing Pulleys, im not sure i would recommend their product if you plan to run any kind of stereo or aux system in ur car. the Underdrive Crank Pulley that comes as the third piece in this kit, which AEM does not sell, is the reason... it takes power from the rest of the cars electrical system, and utilizes that energy more towards the motor itself and HP. well, i think i explained that correctly, but if not, im sure you get the idea... anyways, i've heard that the UR Underdrive Crank Pulley doesnt really do much of anything, except weaken our electrical system, so it might not be worth it. i think FAMILY MAN would be the person to get all PULLEY info from....seeing how he owns these products.

The AEM pulleys come with new belts because the stock ones won't fit.
