Need Help!... wiring alarm
OK... I am installing an aftermarket keyless entry/alarm (Black Cat) in my 2k2 LX coupe. I did a search but didn't find what I was looking for. Here's what the instructions are:
Wht/Blue - Lock
Wht/Grn - Unlock <--- I found both of these OK at the large grey connector to the far left under dash. (Am I right?) Also... does this mean Arm/Disarm? See the door pins notes below.
Wht - Battery
Blk/Yellow - Ignition <--- I found both of these ok at the harness coming down the steering column
Red - Trunk Pin <--- The manual says this is located at the spare green connector taped behind the driver's dash. I had no luck finding this. Any ideas?
Red/Black - Parking Lights <---- Manual says this is located in harness on left side of fuse box. No luck here either
Door Pins <--- The manual gives a few different combos. How do I set this up so that both driver and passenger activate together? Manual says Green-Driver, Light Green/Red- passengers.
Any help is much appreciated!

OK... let me make this a little more simple. I have figured out just about everything else.
1. I have one wire that is supposed to go to the door pin. Can I use this to trigger all the doors? If so, how? Which wire do I connect it to? (This is the 'negative' door trigger)
2. I have one wire that should go to the park lites. The manual says to connect it to a red/black cable located in the harness on the left side of the fusebox. The 7thgencivic.com DIY says that this should be connected to a Red/Yellow wire at the fuse box/relay. Which is it?
Thanks again for any help...

A: You can splice the (3) wires together that are for teh driver, passenger and rear doors triggers if you have sedan, or teh (2) wires if you have coupe. since its negative signal, they activate when any switch is broken, so the alarm will just sends an open door, not which one is open.
Let me make this easy for you, if you remove the sterring shroud around your sterring wheel and ignition cylinder, almsot every wire you need for installation is inside there. Teh ones you need to snake aroud for are the keyless entry door lock wires, teh door trigger switches, and your power windows if you have a auto roll-up feature. All of those wires are under the driver console and near the side panel of teh car. There is an empty plug that is used for teh honda alarm system which has all teh wires used for door sensors, and then another harness that controls the windows and door locks near where the door attaches to teh frame. You can also jsut run teh siren wires thru any of the existing grommets, they all come thru teh firewall and teh siren wires are small and wont effect teh opening.

Thanks Omega... I did find the harnesses nest to the door, and I believe I have the alarm partially working. I am going to wire the doors and parking lights tomorrow... calling it a day for today. I do have the alarm working and the siren taken care of.
I did find the triggers for the doors, but when I wired them they didn't lock or unlock. As of right now, the only thing the alarm does is go off if the doors are opened while armed, or when the car is shaken.
If you can, please help me find the wire for the parking lights. I could not find that one. I think the rest should be cake...
Omega... would you mind just checking this thread tomorrow in case I need help? Thanks again!!!!

you can pass the siren cable through where the hood release cable goes through...tight squeeze, and you have to take the plastic inner fender thing off a little to get at it from the outside, but at leas you don't have to drill through the firewall
