compression on 2k1's....

Sat just for fun, I am going to compression test my engine. I have never done it before, and it seems wicked simple so I wana give it a shot. For reference, what should the ex engine be for compression? Thanks all!

Just a note, 9.9:1 is the ratio. You don't measure the ratio as easy as the compression. To measure the ratio you have to compare the displacement volume and the clearence volume. ratio = displacement + clearence / clearence

in psi it should be *roughly* 9.9*(14.7)=147

I say roughly because:

PV=NRT V and T are variable, R and N are constant, BUT REMEMBER! air isnt REALLY ideal it's just roughly ideal....
