I read the clear headlight diy so i'm assumeing that i must remove the bumper cover to install my projector headlights. However, I dont really understand the diy completley. I do not have any spoiler, oem or aftermarket, so could someone please just tell me what bolts i need to remove to get the bumper off and were they are. I searched and found nothing. I'm just a bit confused, thats all. And about how long will this take me and a friend on ave. Thanks for your help. And flame away if you must

Underneath your bumper there's a little rubber spoiler, that's where the clips that need to be removed are!

theres little black clips that you have to take it out, just use flat screw driver to pop those out then theres one screw each side that you need to take out , order to take out the bumper, DIY shows the pictures, its pretty easy to take out bumper,

just take out every bolt u see that is attached to the bumper in any way and yank. ask 1ps he likes to yank it off just because he can

I cleared mine without taking out the whole bumper. A while back someone said that it could be done just taking out 2 screws (on each) of the fenders, and that's what i did...it lets the bumper hang and you can take out the headlamp. But if you want to be safe, sure take out the bumper.

I took out 3 fasteners per side, plus the 4 snap rivet thingys on the grill.

Fasteners on the side:

I didn't bother with the 4(?) snap rivets on the bottom of the bumper. Pull the bumper away from the sides (as described in the DIY). If the bumper is loosened correctly, it should be able to pivot forward, using the 4 underbody snap rivets as the pivot point. At this point, I put a box under the licence plate holder so that there wasn't too much stress on the bumper at the pivot point.

With the bumper tipped out of the way, you should be able to reach the 2 hidden bolts that hold the lower part of the headlight onto the car.

Thanks for all the hlep guys. Once i started working on it everything kinda explained it self, but all the help was nice. Now the only problem is that the side marker bulbs and turnsignal bulbs are too small to fit into the housing of the new projecters. They are the type pimpdakota had on his car. Does anyone know what i should do? Thanks again

Yeah I noticed that with mine too..
With the lower lightbulb, if you take something thin and pointy you can push the rubber seal from the light into the housing of the projector lights.. and they'll stay in there pretty good.
For the upper lights,. I twisted them in there and pulled on them until I found a spot where they stayed. But now one of those lightbulbs fell out and it is lighting up the ground.. I'm too lazy to get out there and take off my bumper again to fix it lol.

Someone electrical taped theirs in to stay, and then another guy tore up his stock headlights and used the housing from those and glued it onto the back of the projectors so that the bulbs fit as if they were still in the stock housing.

There is a thread somewhere explaining how he did that, I think.
