What short shifter are you trying to install? I put in my Revo SS this past weekend, and it would have taken me 1/2 hour if I didn't run into a little snag (one of the nuts that holds the bolt for the shifter snapped off the car. I had to get my brother under the car to hold the nut with a vise-grip while I finished unscrewing it. It only added another 15 min work.)
I used the instructions on the revotechnica.com site for the install and ToastyGhosty's DIY for installing a HU to remove the center console. Go to his ride in the member's section for his URL.
Hope that helps.

Bassman, I got them from tornactive. Rob gave them to me for $110 shipped USD. I thought I was going to have to pay duty coming across the border, but thankfully he said the package was a gift and voila, no duty!
As for the mod, I love it. The shifting is tighter and more precise. The difference in the throw is really noticable too. I didn't bother getting the kumosport bushings because I couldn't justify spending another $50 CDN on something that I didn't think will make a difference to my shifting. That's just my opinion though (honestly, I really don't know what benefit they have).....

dxman, where did you get your RSX ****? I want to buy one, but the only place I can figure out to get one is from the dealer ($65 CDN). Do you know of anywhere cheaper?[hr]

Here is a pic of the **** with the revo short shifter kit.
Hey dxman, that's the same thing I got in my car - Revo SS, RSX ****, and kumo bushings. I'm not too sure what the bushings are doing still...The whole feel of the SS was really cool for the first few days but now, it's just "oh well". One piece of advice: when you put the clips back onto the SS to hold the cables in place, make sure the ends of the clips are facing downwards. I left mine facing up and I can feel it's sharp points stabbing at the boot, I'm just too lazy to fix it right now.
