Head Lights

Hey guys I know it says im a "Newbie" but ive been on the sight for awhile now, i just never post any messages. I have a question about clearing the headlights. Dont worry I searced all the threads and I didnt find what I was looking for. I know a couple weeks back there was a post on people who cleared their headlights without removing the front bumper. I was just wondering if i could get some feedback from those people who did this and how it was accomplished. I know about the screws in the fender walls and the clips inside the engine bay, but what other screws are there to take out? I appreciate the help.

No you have to take the bumper off....... there's 2 screws behind it so you can take the whole headlight off........ you really have to get a good grip on those headlights in order to pry them apart to clear them

But if somebody did it without taking the bumper off then

I'm pretty sure that there isn't any possible way to take out the lights without taking off the bumper. Even if you went in through the fender well, the screws are wayyyyy to hard to reach...no matter what kind of hand gymnastics you use

There is an easier way, but you need an extension for your ratchet. pop the four plugs out above the grill. Unscrew the two screws in the wheel well and pop the bumper forward. Be sure not to scratch the sides of your car. U will need an extension to get the bottom bolt of the headlight, but other than that it is easy.

it doesnt take 5 minutes to take off the bumper, it'd be quicker than trying to figure out a way to take out the lights without removing the bumper. its not that hard really.
