HOW TO CLEAN AEM SRI INTAKE FILTER

I was wondering if anybody knows how I clean the filter on an AEM SRI? I saw something on the parts for it, but wasn't sure if mine is a K&N filter. How do I check if it is?

Thanks.

Its either K&N or AEM own.....Just by K&N's recharge kit at your local PepBoys or other auto store $10.......

the filter is custom made by k and n for aem so the k and n recharge kit is what you need

...because they built in a "velocity stack" similar to Injen's filter the presumably funnels the air into the intake better. Clean it the same way though.
