non-noob altezza question

I haven't done it personally, but I think you could put them in the oven on low temp for about 10 mins to loosen up the glue, like with the OEM headlights. Then just pull apart.

in the oven eh? cooking the tails doesn't sound too appetizing. hahaa... i might end up with smoked tails! i'm going to try the heat gun this afternoon and see if that werks... thanks for the recipe

Hehe, yeah ovens are a nono. A heat gun is your best bet. I would loosen up the glue with that and slowly peel it apart. Also, you might need an exacto knife to cut the glue as you go. It depends on the consistency of that glue. I don't have APC altezza's, so I don't know what that glue looks like?
be VERRY careful chee, i tried taking my apc's apart about 2 months ago, i heated them up and the glue would loosen up a little. long story short, i got one side opened up a little but couldnt get the whole thing opened, its TOTALLY different from the headlights. good luck anyway, also, be careful with the knife, any little scratch you might accidentally make will scratch off the black lining (whatever you call it) around the light. anyways good luck man, i just gave up, and sealed the SOB without opening it
