Ok so maybe all these intakes,headers,cat-backs don't give us much but what about!?!?
Engine swaps seriously how much would it cost to do ??????cause there have to be hundrends of acura rsx-s engines out there and they can't have all that many km/miles on them!!!
sitting in some crap yard!!!!
think we could get a group buy on something like that(rsx motor need 10 pple going cheap lol)!!!!! i wish i had my beetle that thing was fun and modds made a difference!!!!
but on the bright side maybe honda did a good job and they have maxed out the performance of the engine why screw with it i see if u are going to put n2o on it or a turbo ( if it were affordable but hey) i read somewhere on this form i quote "at least our cars look fast"
its true they might no feel fast but they are faster then average and they sure are fun and letts not forget they are great on gas now i know there are super fast cars but come on there are also fat azz speeding ticked!!

Rep Power: 0 As of right now I have only heard rumors that an engine swap was completed by some hybrid honda people. There's nothing out now that can give you a lot of power. The best thing to do is to use the little things because slowly they will add up. Oh and nitrous is pretty good for a quick boost. Search for the long nitrous thread and you will find that it's the best bang for buck as far as performance goes for our cars.

turbo is a cheaper solution
nitrous oxide is cheaper still

edit: a guy i met that owns a henessy viper got pulled over a month ago for speeding (over 120mph) all he got was a 70 in a 55, because hes not a stuck up ricer
port and polish like spider883 then get i/h/e then reprogram your ecu and you should be at a respectable level. the problem is - everyone is thinking these bolt-ons will add what the manufacturer says they will add, and they end up dissappointed. ya you opened up some of the air ways but not all of them there is still restriction internally. so without the p&p and a reprogrammed ECU you'll still be unhappy.

wantobedoneup: definitely read up on that post that silver linked to. The best way to get any power out of our cars right now is nitrous, but even that is limited. The K20 swap hasn't been proven yet, so I wouldn't get too excited about it. Anyway, we may not have fast cars, but they're dam good cars.

Do a search, spider posted about his gains a while back. I believe he's doing better with his mods than some who have gotten the gude package. . .
