dying synthetic leather

my racing pedals (yellow on silver - [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG] , I painted the yellow parts black so they look decent) came with a free shift ****. can someone recommend something I can use to dye the yellow part a silver color? if nobody has any ideas, I'm just gonna go with spraypaint [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]

The the paint that is used for little model cars...TESTORS. Good stuff that is very durable and you can buy little jars of the stuff. The silver looks like real silver.
