Clearing Sedan lights?
Hey, me and a friend have cleared 3 different peoples coupe headlights, and are thinking of attempting a Sedan... i remember a while back people were saying they are a lot harder to do, can you give me any more info...
if it was the lights couldnt you just get a pair of coupe lights and clear those and put them on the sedan?
thanks for your help.

the reason the sedan lights are hard to clear is bc of the silicone that use to seal it. bc the sedans are made in japan they use a strong silicone. the coupes are made in america and they use a less strong silicone. as long as u put the headlights in a oven for a little bit to get the silicone a little gooey u should be fine.

Yep, it is grey in color on the sedans. I just heated up the pointed side of the light and started pulling it apart while my wife cut. It didn't take long. I didn't have any trouble with the goo getting anywhere. It just stayed right where it was. A drop of sweat from my forehead did drop on to the chrome lens though. I just let it dry. You can't even see it.
First of all, I was just wondering, is there any difference in the coupe and sedan headlights? In other words, I was going to buy the eyebrows for my sedan, but i decided to wait since it does not specify if its for the coupe or sedan. So, are they the same?
Im planning to clear my headlights this coming week. Im praying to God that the lens doesnt crack or worse. oh well. wish me luck.
