Any Ideas on how to do this?

I dont really like any of the altezza style tail lights out there... the matrix dougnut ones are ok.... but I dont really like those either... here is my idea though...
anyone know how I can make this happen??



(the white would be clear in real life... I just am not that talented with paint =)

well it's easy you just pick up a copy of photoshop and it's no problem or you could buy some paint and open up your tails then paint what you want to, just make sure that you seal em up really good otherwise you're gonna get water in em.

photoshop? open your tails? i would guess just take your tails off, cover the spots you dont want painted and just paint them. pimdakota has done this to his tails already..

But he's asking to make them clear... not painted...
I'm assuming the white part would be silver looking.
And to do this, you would have to have custom made tails. It's not like the headlamps where a piece of colored plastic pops out and you're done, the whole thing is red plastic. And the reverse light "clear" plastic is molded into the red plastic.

paint is the only way at the moment.

[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] bummer it cant be done though... yeah I ment for the white part in the picture to be clear like the front lights... and only those small areas to be red....
oh well... I'll start looking for other ideas...

hey man this may sound a little ghetto but a guy here in town bought that chrome tape that runs the bottom lenght of the car(cant think of what its called)and it actually turned out pretty good. you just have to have the patience to get it just right.
