installing intake what do i do
take the VTEC out of your car
your intake should come with instructions, otherwise consult the mega DIY thread up top. there's plenty of info on this.

He may be new. He may be retarded. But don't we want to just tell him that he doesn't have to take out the VTEC? But if he does take it out, can I have it? I'll throw in my head and my extra 7thGenCivic.com sticker for it. Hell that sticker alone will get him like 40 Xtra horses and lower his car by like 2 inches.

iTHOUGHT THAT THE BIG *** BLACK THING CONNECTED TO THE TROTTLE BODY WAS THE
VTEC AND THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO TAKE THAT OUT AND MOVE IT SOME WHERE ELSE OTHER THAN RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WAY.

Try checking this link out. Click here
It might not be what you have for an intake but it will help give you the basic idea of what you need to do, from there you should be able to piece it together.
As well the black thing that is on the throtle body is just a sensor, it should conect back in the new intake once you get it on.
Good Luck man.
