for those of you who painted their headlights black to match JDM, how did you prep the chrome? did you prime it then paint it? did you lightly sand the surface? any help would be greatly appreciated...tenks ppl.

i dont think i seen anyone do it yet...but it is worth a try. but painting the chrome to black would be a pain in the [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG]
i think u have to prime it real good to make sure no leftover then paint many layers of black paint
but my concern is would the headlight, signal lights reflect as good as chrome?

sup guys i actually am one of the few that have painted their headlights JDM black...i think their is 3 of us that have done this....u dont need to prep or prime just spray paint.....be careful tho.....PM me for any ?'s....you can check out the JDM style headlamps click on my ride (link on the bottom)...
