hey everyone i got a 2k1 civic ex coupe.. its a auto.. and well i have lately notice that from when i am at a full stop and then i press the gas and my RPM's got to 4000.. and my gears change.. there a sound between each gear.. the sound is like a blow off valve.. a pssssshhh... can anyone help me

I reckon u still have the stock airbox?Mine did the same even before I had the intake.I think this just shows that our civics have been well-tuned from the factory and why aftermarket intake doesnt give us that much improvement.If you like the sound and want it louder I highly suggest u get an intake and u'll hear the same sound only 2x-3x louder [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/IMG] catch ya later

Yeah...i have that same sound...and it did get louder when i put on my intake.....is there anyway to get rit of it?

It's nothing bad.It's just the sound of air passing through the throttle body when it shifts gear.What's your problem with the sound?People are paying like $200-$300 to get that kind of sound.Hope that helps u all.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
