ROTATE TIME

Does anyone know if rotating your tires by yourself requires you to get the tires aligned?

I can't remember [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] but I am getting mine done this week free rotate at Costco sp I will try to see what they do I know its front to back then next time like side to side

i got both my 2k1's rotated under 30k and didnt get them balanced or alligned..
They both drive perfect. For the first rotation go from front to back.
It should be fine.

changing tires does NOT require an alignment. you only need an alignment if you crash and mess up your suspension, or if you lower your car with springs or coilovers. have fun trying to rotate them yourself though!

to assure proper wear of the tires, rotate the front left to the rear right and the front right to the rear left. this produces the same wear as when the tires are in the place they are right now, so no tires wear out before another.

not much fun rotating them (front to back only) using 2 jacks... i did it at 10k because I was noticing the uneven treadwear. just easier to take it in and have it done for 10 bucks or whatever

but it does need to be done...

my dads best friend own a garage so when i go in to get an oil change he rotates mine when I need it at no charge, so I guess I luck out

uhh rotating ur own tires is ez..... acourse I have access to air tools and multiple jacks so that might make a diff..
