panic button reprogramming
hi guys,
anyone out there reprogram the "panic" button on their OEM alarm remotes? Say, for another function, like popping the trunk, or reprogramming it to open the garage door? I haven't been able to find much information out there on how to monkey around with the remote much. Thanks.

honda dealership.... they are leeches... when i purchased my 2002 civic EX... like all EX models... they come equiped with a keyless entry system... the salesperson was willing to throw in an alarm.. when i picked up my car... they installed the alarm system controlled by the OEM keyless entry system... i bitched... all of them thought i was crazy... demanding a swap from a "OEM ALARM" to an aftermarket Automate alarm. and who is the joke now?! the automate alarm system installed by the dealer has 3 extra channels.. and i've added my pop trunk so far. LOL! by the way.. those keyless entry add on Alarm systems run about $60 from DEI.. selling on ebay... and the automate alarm i got is about.. $120.. sure seems like i got the better deal.
