Exhaust Question
yes i did a search but couldnt really find anything helpful. i should be getting a GReddy muffler for FREE from my uncle who's selling his car, what are the negatives if any to keeping the stock piping? basically question is this, can i keep stock pipes and be ok, or should i get 2.25 piping.
thanks
thanks
Well...2.25" in pipe is less restrictive...it give a better response to the acceleration...the only draw back is...louder exhuast noise...
If u want to keep it stock pipe u should be ok too...just make sure u take out the OEM resonator...

OMG! do NOT remove the oem resonator, i did that when i was installing a muffler and it go REALLY loud. the only way to fix the loudness was to spend 300 to get a magnaflow catback exhaust
ok well i have a 2.75 in exaust with no resonator and a greddy muffler, and i personally think it isnt bad, doesnt sound like a weed wacker and its nice and loud and deep....i like it, obviously tho, it isnt v8 deep, its stil gonna be 4 banger deep, but its not bad.....

DO NOT keep the stock piping then it is a waste of ur time to get the muffler...DURK WHY DO U HAVE 2.75" piping....that is weighing u down and not adding extra perfermance...
