Power Window Not Working!
Refer to this thread: Where is(are) the power windows fuse(s)?
Now, I also tried a voltmeter up to the wire that leads to the power window motor. I set it on lower settings and higher settings. I played with the power window switch. Nothing. No readings. I still have to compare it with the other side (that works) to see if I'm checking it correctly. Anyway, any ideas?

Okay, I think I have this problem licked. I checked all of the connections with a voltmeter and it seems that the passenger side switch is getting power, but is not passing it on when it's triggered. Defective switch. I'll take it apart and see what's up.

Yeah, same with mine. I think this happened after I took apart the interior door panel the first time though. I don't know how to fix it yet, but I'll see what's up soon enough.

Grey, I know you checked the fuses but did you check all of them? I haven't checked on my Civic but my Accord had seperate fuses for the right/left windows. I really made me made because I was installing a 530T window module. I had everything all put back together and then my drivers side window wouldn't work. I took it all apart checked all my wires, checked my fuses, then I realized each windows had a seperate fuse.
nevermind, just read the post that you linked to

<< grey? why dont u just take it to honda and let them molest it for you? >>
Because more than likely I'de have to pay for it since I modified the interior of my car so much. I took out that vapor barrier and I glued sound deadening material all over the place. I'de like to solve this problem myself.
Okay, I had a defective voltmeter. I replaced the fuse within the voltmeter and then I took accurate readings. It seems the power window switch and the wire leading to the motor deliver the power properly. This sucks. It looks like it's the power mirror motor itself. I wonder what the hell caused it to burn out?
OMFG! I am so dense! Guess what it was? It was the damned switch on the drivers side. That damned switch that you press to block the passenger side window. I assumed that I could control the passenger side window from the drivers side with that switch depressed or not. Assumptions are the mother of all Fups. Do I feel like a bone head. Oh well, I needed to take off my door panels to finish off the insulation anyways.
Sup Grey,
Yo man, I had that problem in my Integra... It may be a different problem for you but I found out that it was the switch piece, it may be different in our cars, I haven't checked- but- it's the piece where the wire harness connects to the switch piece ( i dunno the name) but the one on the door. Anyway, I went to a junk yard and got a repleacement dirt cheap. I think something inside cracked from all the door slamming, etc... Hope you figure it out!
