rear door outer handle & latch removal help needed

rear door outer handle & latch removal help needed
97 civic sedan.
The rear door lock is incredibly stiff. I can just barely pull up on the lock **** enough to get it to unlatch. It wont stay unlatched though so something needs to be replaced-i assume the latch.
I have the door panel completely removed and 1 of the 2 bolts holding the outer latch out, but I cant access the second one.
i could use some help taking the latch out...

have you tried soaking everything with silicone spray? you can get almost everywhere just by spraying it from inside the door and not remove the latch. i had the same problem and now it goes up and down like new. spray everything that moves.

soaked it... little to no improvement. It needs to come out for replacement. Any tips getting that rear most bolt out of the outer handle to remove?
