2003 Civic LX ATF Change Question

My apologies if this is a duplicate question;

I have found a couple DIY articles on changing the tranny fluid. I have not found a definitive answer on if this vehicle has a filter or not? I am used to GM vehicles where you have to drop the pan and change the filter . Does the 2003 Civic LX not have a "filter"?

Re: 2003 Civic LX ATF Change Question

it has a small panel filter (strainer) inside the trans, which can only be changed during a rebuild when everything is taken apart. its not a normally serviceable part. 01-05 does not have a removable pan.
