has anyone ever painted their window/door trims? this would be the one right below the windows. not sure if it happens to all but its starting to happen to mine where the black color is fading off and it looks silver under it. would anyone know how i could paint this and not mess up the car or windows? thanks in advanced.

well that silver is metal, so you cant just spray paint and expect it to stick.

any tips on getting the paint to stick and turn out good?

prolly have to take all the plastic off first, then sand the metal, prime it, and then paint. maybe even clear coat. you might just wanna replace em with a new piece.
