Driver side, read window no longer working

I have a 2005 Civic EX SE with almost 60,000 miles. About 3 weeks back the rear driver side window quit working. No luck from the drivers door or the rear door. I checked all my fuses but no luck there. Anyone replaced the motor on theirs? Where would I begin? Where can I even order one? Someone mentioned to me it may be the drivers controller that is bad. Suggestions? Help please. Thanks.

Re: Driver side, read window no longer working

My 05 drivers rear is gone at the moment as well.

A simple check is watch the dome light while trying the problem window for any dimming when switch is pressed. If there is dimming then the motor is getting voltage and something is bound up. I applied battery voltage to my disconnected rear and it still will not budge it draws about 13-14 amps.

There have been issues with the master switches as well. Applying voltage direct to the disconnected motor would be a simple free test..

Thanks. Appreciate the info. Will try to check this. Is this easy access to the switches (front and rear) or is it completely taking the door apart?

Thanks again.

Door panel off, the peel back the white plastic. There is a 2 pin connector so you can isolate the motor from the circuit.

Search for the front speaker DIYs and threads for the procedure (back is similar) Release handle cover and remove plate inside interior door handle for screw access. Peel at bottom edge and lift up.
