trouble with cv's in a gsr swapped civic

I swapped a GSR into my civic about 5 years ago and am trying to change the half shafts in it. I am having extreme trouble getting the half shaft to seperate from the jack shaft on the drivers side assembly any help or tips would be greatly appreciated

I unbolt the halfshaft mount on the back of the block and pull the whole axle and half shaft out of the trans usually then you can stick the half shaft in a vice. I have had some cars that the half shaft came apart easy and others that were just a bitch.
