Factory Recommendations
Factory Recommendations
I have a 2008 Honda Civic EX non-Hybrid and all I want is a nice list of the factory recommended maintenance. The manuals are not real clear and all I wanted is a mileage list, for example at 7,500 change the oil, rotate the tires. At 15,000 adjust values, change the oil, etc....
Any suggestions?

Re: Factory Recommendations
Rule of thumb for all hondas...change the oil and rotate tires every 5000 miles. Change the timing belt every 90,000 +/- and the car will run forever. If you live somewhere very dusty or like to race your car about everytime you turn the key, do oil and tires at 3000. Hondas are easy and as reliable as the universe if you just do that. For plugs, wires, valves, etc., just follow the factory recommendations. When all else fails, stick your dick in the fuel filler and give it a little lovin'!
