Rattle and Click
Question-any suggestions are helpful-I have a 2003 civic ex and am having some trouble. I had the brakes changed about 2 months ago and ever since there are rattling sounds coming from underneath everytime I go over a pothole
the car rattles underneath. My mechanic-not a honda dealer, has been trying to target the problem-having already changed the sway bar bushings and the links-to no avail, the rattle is still there. Now, after the mechanic spent some time again trying to get at the problem, there is a new noise (still the rattle is there) and now, when I step on the brake when it is in park, the switch in the shifter clicks noisily-My mechanic-now former, does not know what to do-he played around under there long enough and now all it seems that new noises are showing up. Any ideas on what to repair to get rid of the rattle-could it possibly be a problem with the transmission? Thanks,
