Question Wheel stud 94 civic

I am replacing the wheel studs on my 94 civic......do I need to drain the transaxle fluid before pulling the axle?

Re: Wheel stud 94 civic

One thing that I did do that was different was I cut the head off the old studs with a cut off wheel to make it easier to hammer out the old studs. I did that after I hammered out the stud a little ways to give me enough room to get the cut off wheel under the head of the stud. My Civic is also a 94.
