need help on a DIY
need help on a DIY
Hey guys i have a 2005 limited edition civic ex sedan and im planning on applying some VHT Nite-shade paint to the tailights... i was wondering if anyone could give me the run down on exactly what steps to take in doing this... ive heard many different things and was wondering what the thing to do was thanks
Re: need help on a DIY
remove the back bumper
remove the taillights
clean them up real good
spray them to the desired tint that you want
let it dry and then clear coat them if you want them to be shiny
re install taillights
re install bumper
TAKE PICTURES SO WE ALL CAN SEE simple as that.

Re: need help on a DIY
you can get clear coat in a rattle can..
My buddy is tinting his tails and he is mixing clear coat, 5 parts clear to one part black for a light tint.
We do alot of painting so we use hvlp guns, my buddy just bought an iwata. and chroma clear from du pont. not cheap by any means but very good quality.
