Apexi NEO with D17a2 head swap - does it work?

Hello all,

I've read up the post in regards to the head swap with the VAFC2, but I was wondering if anyone out there has done this swap using an APEXI NEO!? Any info. would be great! Cheers!

fully sickkk mate! im glad ppl out there have done it! im arranging to have a d17a2 head sent over to melbourne where i'm at, and now i'm in the market for an apexi neo if anyone knows of a friend who's wanting to sell! also, does anyone know much about the d17 engine? my block says that its a d17z engine - which im assuming is the australian name of the engine. is this block the same as a d17a1/2? i'm looking to do the swap over here in aus so i just want to confirm before purchasing! any info would be awesome. i really appreciate the help you've given me. cheers mate!

not sure about the d17z. the afc neo is pretty easy to hook up just make sure u actually solder it dont just tape it or use wire taps. the afc controls stuff and you wouldnt wanna screw something up. theres actually a good little diy on how to program your afc neo on here. just remember before u do anything make sure the afc is set to 4 cylinders, arrow pointing northeast (i think just double check on that one) and pressure 6in 6out
