1996 honda civic ex automactic swap to manual

hey, im swapping my auto to a manual. its a 96 civic ex. i just want to know what do i need to do the swap? im going to put the same motor but its gonna be a manual thats it.

Come on man, he's right. This is something that is pretty easy to find information on. You can't expect everything to be spoon fed to you. I'll get you started though...

You need quite a bit to do the swap, so it's not an easy 1-2-3 answer. Start with the obvious ones like the transmission, pedal assembly, center console, shift linkages...and then do some research for the specific stuff. Prepare to spend at least $600-800 (that's if you're good at finding parts for cheap!).

You need the tranny, ecu, slave cylinder, clutch cylinder, shift linkage, pedals, chances are if your getting used parts you might want to replace the clutch and flyweel depending on how many miles, center console setup(includes multiple things) look it up on google, alot of time and fustration with tuning and yeah....

hey on the clutch pedal. do i have to plug two wires to the two sensers on top of the clutch pedal? any info will help

thanks dude and i have another ? to ask. my old motor has a black and a green wire on the powersteering switch and my new motor has just the black wire and they cut the plug off of it. so i want to know wat do i do about this?
